EL Summer Symposium 2019

This workshop will focus upon the many accessible resources National Geographic Learning has chosen to correlate to the themes of Expeditionary Learning for ELs in gr. 3-5. We will discuss the Expeditionary Learning themes, and study and critique the correlated titles chosen to help meet the needs of ELs. We will also take a closer look at their text features, methodology, lesson paths and support activities. Participants will leave with some examples of this new resource being piloted in Boston, so they too can try this in a limited format.
